Home For The Holidays

Are you heading out this year or staying home for the holidays? How many hugs are you looking forward to? If you are like us, you will count enough warm and wonderful greetings to outweigh weird, annoying and crazy Christmas encounters.

Some years, they all come caroling through our front door. On other holidays, we join them at a relative’s table. Each and every one of us could write a book about the strange, wacky and unhinged people who make up our extended families.

Your aunt cannot possibly be more nosy than ours. And those cousins who constantly brag can’t compete with ours who, according to them, are raising the most perfect children. From snarky sisters to brothers who act like Bart Simpson, you put up with them all, and so do we.

Where in the world can you hide? Again, if you are like us, you don’t hide because you don’t really want to. Crazy relatives are as much a part of Christmas as mistletoe and jingle bells.

For every lump of coal in the crowd, there is a snow angel. For every grinch, there is a Secret Santa. At the end of the day, your stocking is stuffed with a dazzling variety of people who put a unique sparkle in the season.

Of course we love all of them, but it helps that we only see some of them once a year.

When we really need to get away, we come home to HolidayDispatch. The door is always open, the noise level never bothers and there is a reason to smile around every corner. So come on in and find out for yourself. Welcome to your other home for the holidays.
