My Way Day, observed annually on February 17, is all about taking the reins and indulging your fancies.
This could be psychologically turbulent for those around you:
– Irrational brides will impose on everyone to have things their way.
– Teenagers will steadfastly argue with parents to get their way.
– Toddlers will employ the temper-tantrum tactic to get their way.
However, for this one day everyone gets to have things their way and as long as everyone is properly briefed on the matter beforehand, eye rolls, tantrums, nagging, bribing and whining will not be necessary.
There could be a lot of backfires today since everyone gets their own way:
In a restaurant you get to order the meal your way – omitting, adding or swapping. Just remember how the character Sally, in “When Harry Met Sally”, ordered her meals and follow her lead. However, keep in mind the chef may decide to prepare the order her way, whether you like it or not, because for her, it’s her day.
But today could also prove to be your chance to shine:
You’ve had an idea to launch a project others have scoffed. My Way Day affords you the opportunity to cast aside naysayers and put your idea to the test. Do it your way and you could reap the benefits of a huge success.
It’s your way or the highway and it only happens once a year. So if you choose to sleep-in or take the world by storm in your own unique style, savor it.
